What is the Ctrack Sustainable Mobility Hackathon 2022 all about?
The Eastern Cape has become a hub for automotive not only in South Africa but the entire African region. This was one of the reasons that prompted leading vehicle fleet management & telematics solutions provider Ctrack chose to host a hackathon aimed at exposing the skills available in the Eastern Cape under this theme.
The inaugural Ctrack Sustainable Mobility Hackathon saw 145 individuals register to be part of the first installment as hackers. This document aims to give a report on how the activities carried out over the week-long event that started on Friday 18th till Thursday 24th November.
By the end of the weekend, 19 teams had worked on projects they proposed to address some of the pressing mobility issues in the province.
We appreciate the support and efforts from our partners inq., Arm(E3)NGAGE, and the 16th Annual ICT Summit.
